As you've guessed I am yet another newbie! I'm not here to lose a drastic amount of weight, more to lose a few lbs to get back to the shape I was last year, and then tone up a bit on that! I'm 5'9 and about 10stone 12 lbs (152lbs). I'm not obese etc but I think there is a lot I could do to get healthier in general! I may also steal some of your tips for my Mum who has a constant battle with her weight.

Before I went on holiday in Oct, I weighed 10st 4lbs and would like to get back there asap, and then try to improve fitness/toning. 8 lbs might not seem huge but it will be a challenge for me as I have very little will power! I can see where it has all gone too, and I think due to my height as well, I fit size 12's rather well!! I want to get to the point of fitting into 10's or the odd 12's comfortably again.

I hope you don't mind me coming on here and using your forum :waving:
 
Welcome Shadow, it makes no difference how much any of us have to lose, we are all here for the same reason, to make some changes and well done for your attempts so far and looking for support. All our weight issues are as important as each others.

I need to lose around 21lbs and everyone tells me I dont need to. Well its how I feel, I am overweight end of story and I feel it where it hurts. I am determined and just by coming here and using my daily diary, it has given me focus, structure and amazing control already. So far lost over 9lbs so you can imagine how pleased I am. I have exercised too to do that and I generally shift weight pretty quick, trouble is I can put it on just as quick too. I came to learn to control my eating habits not just lose weight.

I wish you well as I know no matter what, there is no nicer feeling than fitting nicely into the clothes we want. Best of luck. :cheers2:
