Well I'm typing you this at 5am, I can't sleep and am very depressed. I've gained so much weight the past few years and now the past few months have been out of control. I'm a 5'9" male weighing 255lbs. Whoa, that's insane, I hit 235lbs for the first time about 8 weeks ago and just plowed on 20lbs, this is unprecedented. I'm in so much pain I can't even get into it right now but I'm here for help.

Thanks

Hi, there is a lot of infomation on here, but if you feel the journey is a big and hard one to get your head around I would highly recommend seeking the help of a nutritionist who has good coaching and support skills. It might seem like an expense now, but think of the investment a year down the line when you could be 50 pounds lighter and a lot happier. Something to seriously consider

Thanks man. The funny thing is I use to be a nutritionist and personal trainer/gym manager. So lack of knowledge hasn't been the dilemma, lack of desire is the problem but after some things that I saw and went down this past week it's like I've had a wake up call.

BELIEVE that you are trying to do something that you can do. Read the before and after pictures thread if it could motivate you.

Dont lie thinking about it and getting depressed. Form a plan and do something positive today.
Change something about your eating habits to make them more healthy - e.g. drink plenty of water, eat 5-a-day, start logging on , cut out the junk food
Go out for a walk for half an hour.

There are a whole heap of things that you could do that would set the ball rolling.

I'm back and I've gained weight. I just weighed in at 262.8 lbs. To say I'm lost with this is an understatement. Hitting the gym in the morning.
