Hey Everyone I'm New

Hey guys, what's up. I'm a newb that just stumbled along this site. I been sayin I was gonna lose weight for a while now and still have never really taken any actions to do so. I'm 21 years old and right now I'm 6'0 around 315 (haven't weighed myself in months). My longterm goal is to get to 200 lbs. I know that could take years to get to but that's where I'd like to be someday. I just don't know where to begin. With school and work, it's hard to make time, but I don't wanna make any more excuses. Hopefully I'll find the motivation I need to get this going. So could someone help me out and give me some ideas on what I should do to get started?

Welcome :) I've just recently found out about BMR, lol... I'm still new to all of this, and someone please correct me if I give any bad advice... but maybe start by finding out how many calories you should be eating ( is a good site) to help figure out your food plans, figure out your exercise plans, and maybe start a journal on here or to help keep track of what your taking in and to help keep yourself accountable. It's been working pretty well for me, so far...anyway, this is a great place for support, best of luck!! :D
