Hi all, I'm 27 and from the UK :)! Been trying to lose weight for quite a while now its been a slow journey! I'm 5'10 and my highest weight was around 5 years ago when I was around 195lbs. I now weigh 154lbs and I'm trying to lose the last few pounds to get to around 140lbs! I go to the gym 5 times a week currently but I sometimes eat too much so I'm really trying to watch what I eat! Just need a some motivation to keep me going! :D
 
hi everyone! I am a 31 year old student nurse!!! I have 3 very young children. having 3 children in 3 1/2 years has left me over weight and depressed!!!!! I live in the uk and am seriously considering a gastric ballon!!! any gastric balloon buddies or advice would be gratefully appreciated!!!! love t x

tolineux - Hey welcome! :grouphug: I know how you feel about being depressed! I know when I get depressed I tend to over eat a lot!!!! I haven't had kids but some of my friends are in the same situation - they have had kids and find it hard to lose weight afterwards - A few of them have shifted the weight successfully so I think you should be able to as well :)! Have you been to ur doctors about having a gastric ballon? They might be able to help with other things first before that - I know I've been before when I was at my highest weight and they gave me a lot of advice and help! xxx

Thanks for your reply - sorry not got back but been on work placement n really busy,, Tomorrow I have the balloon fitted, I'm so nervous but also excited!! tomorrow my life changes for better!!

Welcome! Congratulations on your weight loss so far! I hope you find what you are looking for on this board - the people are really awesome and inspiring! Good luck on reaching your goal! You sound like you know what it takes to make that happen!!

Evy keep up all the hard work! A good way to lose those last pounds would be to constantly change your workouts and increase your intensity levels.

This was something that had worked more me. Just keep your eye on the big picture and you will get there.
