I always find it a curious thing when overweight people say "aw, it's just another scam diet and you'll gain it all back when you're off it". First, I find those comments amusing, considering they themselves are not practising portion control. Secondly, most people, including myself, are intelligent enough to know that the method of eating and exercising is a forever lifestyle commitment, not a three month gig.
The people on this forum have mostly lost considerable amounts of weight already, or are in the process of doing so. They DO know about portion control, healthy eating, exercising and how to maintain weight after losing weight. In other words, they know what they are talking about.
A lot of them have also spent a lot of time looking into all the fad diets and diet scams that are out there. A few things they all have in mind is that they are expensive, not suitable for long term, and most of them don't do anything at all.
So, you are telling me that you are intelligent enough to know that losing weight is a long term commitment, yet you find yourself unable to control the amount you are eating without spending thousands of dollars for it? And so you will keep spending the $ 300 per month (plus the renewal fee that will inevitably come up) for the rest of your life? Because if using this Herbal life is your lifestyle change, then wouldn't that mean that you'll have to stick with it for the rest of your life??
The pills do nothing. There is nothing in them that will make you lose weight faster, or 'speed up your metabolism'. The ingredients are herbs (and other things) that may or may not have some health benefits. Health benefits that you can get from eating nutritious food as well.
I don't get how anybody could seriously consider spending money on this, or similar programs. They don't teach you anything you couldn't get for free, and their 'supplements' are placebos. At the prices they charge, they're scammers for me. All they want is your money, but well....if you've got it, you might as well waste it. Hope it'll work for you in the long run.
