Hello, I am 16 and i have eating problems.
recently i went on a 6 month diet where i only ate vegetables and fruit. I lost my period and most of my hair fell out. Now, i was forced to eat properly by my parents but i cannot stop eating, and so i put on more weight than before, now weighing 154 pounds. I was able to hold 119 pounds for around 3 months. I need help now to loose weight again but healthily , so that i can actually maintain it. Any ideas what i can do to healthily weigh 130 pounds? A good diet plan and lots of walking?

Based on what you said, I think you really need to create a support system of people in your life. Talk to your parents, teachers, etc. It comes down to mindset and smart food choices. Your support system will really help with the mindset

Good idea Jericho!!

Katharina I am sure your parents would love to help you, if you would explain to them your wishes to weigh 130 pounds. What is your height?

I agree with what Jericho and AnnaGail have said. A good support system is going to be one of the most important things you could have right now.

Make sure to stay out of 'diet' mode... You don't want to go on any diet. As Jericho said, it's about making smart food choices. You want to create the healthy eating habits now that you'll (hopefully) continue to have throughout your life.

With a balance of smart food choices, physical activity, and good emotional support, you'll get to a healthy weight (and a healthy mindset) in time.
