help!

hi,
im a 26 yr old mom of 2 and currently weigh 186lbs.i need to lose about a even 40 lbs to be my ideal weight for my height which is 5'9".i have no real idea how to do this however and would really appreciate any input and advice.

Welcome! Im sure you will hear diet and exercise. It works but the truth is is you want to change your life you have to make a lifestyle change. For me this was not eating and drinking what ever I want. For others its being more active. Just think about what it is in your life that has you over weight change it and then do your best then do a little more. No excuses you control your life. Good Luck! Check In often or when you need some support it really has been helping me to have a place to talk about my weight problems.
 
Hi, I was in a very similar position of not knowing what to do and how. I found that just by cutting out all junk food, processed food amd all sodas I started losing weight. That combined with some exercise has worked well for me. Whatever you do, make sure it manageable, start off slow and buid it up.

I found that starting a diary on here really has helped me, not just with food and exercise but also random other stuff like how I feel is related to what i eat/do! Give it a go.
