Hey,

Don't worry, you've come to the right place to gain valuable support and insight regarding weight loss!

There's lots of threads called stickies at the beginning of the different subforums that you can read to get you started on figuring out what you should be eating, how much you should be eating and what exercises you can do to improve your weight, health and fitness.

You've made a great first step by seeking out help, well done!

The only major point I want to make is that aiming to lose 2 stone in 2 months may be too ambitious, which may set yourself up for failure and could be detrimental to your health.

It is recommended that you lose only 1 to 2 lbs maximum per week. So in 2 months, approx 8 weeks, you could lose 16lbs maximum (plus a few lbs of water weight extra that you'll lose at the beginning).

I understand that you're concerned about your back but it won't do you any good to crash diet, I'm sure you would benefit most from taking things slow and steady with the aim of making a permanent change to your lifestyle :)

If you have specific questions that the sticky threads don't answer there's plenty of people here to help you out.

I hope I helped & good luck with your weight loss.

thank you so much

can i ask how do i navigate round the site i'm having real trouble

also thank you for your honesty i no its hard but i hope to lose at least a stone thts my main goal for 2months but 2stone would be nice lol

if you can help thank you:Angel_anim:

Just over one stone is completely doable!

If you click the orange weight-loss-forum.com banner in the top right you will be brought to the home page of the forum. So if you ever get lost in the forum, just click that and you can start over.

From the home page you can scroll down and choose which sub forum you want to view, for instance 'nutrition', then you can see the different threads that other users have created.

The threads at the top that are labelled 'sticky' are threads that have been 'stuck' permanently at the top because they have useful information that can benefit everyone.

Below the stickies are the other threads that are ordered by which has the newest comments first.

I hope that helped?

PS. You might want to go to the 'weight loss diary' forum to begin a diary of your progress (just start a new thread and call it whatever you want your diary to be called ie 'tubbytinkerbell's diary'). That can be really helpful and gives others an opportunity to comment on how you're doing and offer relevant advice.

Looking forward to seeing more posts from you once you've got this place figured out :)
