Hello all
What would be the quickest way to lose weight from exercise at home? And also the quickest way to lose weight from the gym?
 
There is no 'quick' way to lose weight at either place. If you try to lose it quickly, it won't be healthy and there is a good chance that you will gain it all back + a bit more for your trouble.

Sound health through nutrition and exercise can be an aquired taste, but once you have it down...it is like learning to ride a bike............you never forget.

If you are losing more than 1-3 pounds/week.....you are not doing it in a healthy manner that you or your body will be able to maintain.
 
Your best bet is to go with the one that will keep you most motivated, long term. That way you'll stick with it, equaling the best results :)
 
Get on a plan that includes cardio, strength training, good eating, rest and hydration. Here are 5 tips to get you started...

1) Eat 5-6 small meals throughout the day. Each meal should be 2-3 hours apart. Each meal should contain one protein and one carb. The first meal should be eaten within an hour after waking.


2) Drink a cup of water at each meal.


3) Rest properly. This means taking at least 48 hours between strength training the same muscles, and it also means getting at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night. Lastly, it means taking 1-2 days off from exercising per week.


4) Cardio. This should be done at different intensity levels and different session lengths. Consider doing a low intensity/long session, a high intensity/short session and a few medium intensity/medium length sessions.
