Do you have any idea what your current bodyfat % is? That would help out a lot. Also, can you give us an example of your daily routine (including what/when you eat, how you train, how much sleep you get, etc)

Answering these questions first will get you the best and fullest answers.

well no i have no idea how much fat % i have but i imagine i have quite a bit but as for my diet i drink a diet shake in the morning along with a scoop of protein in 8 ounces of water then for lunch usualy a chicken salad with no ranch or a subway chicken sandwich with no mayo or mustard for dinner usualy vegetables with grilled fish or chicken or just a small salad then i work out at night from around 6-8 a half an hour of just lifting working upper body a half an hour on abs another half hour for back and another half an hour doing cardio on a bike.

o i forgot also i started taking creatine and from day one have been drinking a gallon of water a day since i started working out so for about a month and two weeks

A great place to check out is the FAQ thread right here in the body building section of the forum.

For a couple of quick pointers though, I can tell you this. First off, you need to eat more frequently. If you don't get enough calories in your body, that starts to damage your metabolism, immune system, as well as many other basic bodily functions. Diets don't work. Being healthy is a way of life. Each meal should contain some form of protein too. Also, good fats such as peanuts, fish oils, etc are needed in order for your body to function properly. The ones to stay away from are trans fats and saturated fats.

Finally, it is very bad to work the same muscles every day. That gives your muscles no time for growth or recovery. At first, you will see strength gains, but that's just stablizer muscles being used when they normally aren't. Do not train the same muscle within 2-3 days time...especially as a beginner. That's a sure fire way to hurt yourself.
