Sport Help with nutrition

Sport Fitness
I am a VERY picky eater. Hate salads, vegetables, etc. I need to gradually work on my diet and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I do my best to get smoothies at smoothie king, planet fitness, etc. and always get them without the added sugar. My favorites are Acai. Are these okay for me? Are there better choices? I am starting to have a bowl of Kashi's version of Cheerios with skim milk for breakfast and a Sambazon Rio Energy drink or glass of orange juice. Does anyone have advice on what I could be doing to work on my diet? What foods are good for fat burning and don't taste like junk?

Thanks!

My advice is to hold your nose when you eat your vegtables that way you won't taste them. Oh and btw, exercise (not food) will burn calories.

What is your goal and what exercises are you currently doing?

Acai Berry is considered one of the best solution to reduce weight. Acai Berry is with the dieting process, allowing the vitamins and minerals that are not much in the diet of the person.

The main component in constructing a diet/nutritional plan is knowing what the personal goals are. How can one assist you with a diet, unless its known whether you want to gain good weight or lose good weight?

What are your personal goals? What do you have to train with, etc, etc.

Best wishes

well if you want to loose weight, then you shouldnt touch energy drinks. They are worse than cola.

Look at what your eatting. specifically calories.
Try to write down all the calories that your eating and start a file of all the foods you eat regularly. Anything that you eat out, you should be able to find on the internet.

If you think this is too much work then, just think about your goal and get on with it. After a month you'll prob have all your foods written down and you'll know off by heart how many cals are in most things and be able to estimate quite well.
I round up to the nearest 10 to save time an maths!

just by having access to all this info and writting down your total calories for every day you will quickly see that dietsing is actually very easy.

without even trying I got my average weekly intake down by over 10'000 calories a week.

But with the veggies... you just gotta learn to love them.
Try cooking them diff ways. One of my fav veg is a red pepper. I have one a day and eat it raw like an apple. a large pepper is 2 of your 5 a day.

So... one large pepper, an apple, some pine nuts, glass of OJ and something green like some raw spinach leaves and bingo - youve got all the good stuff you need for the day.

Then just keep changing it up with things you do like, i.e. diff kinds of nuts, raw carrot, beatroot, pinapple, pairs, cherries, avacardo, sweet potato.

just look for the things you do like.
