Help with exercise routine

Hi,

This is my first post, and I hope I can get some feedback, positive or negative on my current exercise routine.

Background info

20yr Female
5'7"
200lbs
Main exercise is karate training 2 nights a week, 60mins a time.

Desperatly wanting to lose weight for the summer, and for my general health.

I'm beginning to eat more healthily, however I am currently eating 3 main meals a day, but am open to consideration on the 5/6 meals a day thing. Increase my intake of fruits and veggies, as well as cutting out food with high fat contents.

I'm currently working on planning an exercise routine. Im thinking of something along the lines of...

Monday- Karate 60mins (of which 30mins is continuous sparing)
Tuesday- Karate 60mins (" ")
Wedsnesday- Rest day
Thursday- Cycle for 30mins (possibly divide that time up by moderate cycling, vigorous, interval training..?)
Friday- Run 30mins
Saturday- Weight training
Sunday- Weight training

Specific weight exercises ideas would be appreciated. In terms of equipment, I've got dumbells, and a punchbag.

I appreciate my ideas are really vague, but I'm hoping for some input from people who've been there, and continue to stick to exercise routines!

You may want to list what you eat, as there may be sources of excess calories that you may not have noticed.

You may want to have the weight training on non-consecutive days to give your weight trained muscles recovery time between sessions.

Also, you may want to measure your progress in terms of body fat percentage, instead of just weight. Using just weight may confound fat loss and muscle gain. Waist measurement (at navel level) can also be helpful to measure progress.

Thanks.

My exact diet varies from day to day, but its usually weetabix for breakfast, chicken baguette for lunch, and dinner varies from a roast, stir fry, i love chicken, so I eat a lot of that. Not a big fan of red meat though.

I'll definately try the measuring thing.

Thanks again!

Anyone else?
