Hi everyone,
I've been looking to start weight training and I would also like to lose quite a few of my extra pounds, basically so that I look and feel fitter. I've been overweight for the majority of my life - and I figure that now that I have recently become single again, now is the time to do something about it.
But I don't know where to start! I'm 6ft 4ins tall and weigh 263.8lbs. I am currently practically made of fat, with my apparently top notch scales telling me that I'm 29.10% fat.
I need to lose weight and hopefully build muscle.
Where do I begin? Diet, obviously needs looking at. Can anyone recommend one? Also, I need to find an exercise plan that I can fit around my work. I have plenty of time in the evenings and time in the morning can be made. I was considering buying a multigym, as I currently have the best part of no equipment - other than a dumbbell with interchangable weights. Why my ex didn't take that along with my barbell and the OTHER dumbbell, I don't know.
I know results won't happen overnight, but rapid changes would be nice - as I find it very difficult to keep motivated. I'm hoping that this forum will change that
Can anyone offer any advice of where to begin?
