hi to all i'm new here so go easy on me! i have a complicated question. i am a 29yr male from Barbados (in the Caribbean), and i am also a Haemophiliac (a bleeder) and was in an accident when i was younger and developed arthritis in my knee over the years i have put the pressure on what would be the good knee, this then too developed arthritis so i now have in both. i cannot run, jump and i walk with ugly limp the thing, one knee is slightly more flexible than the other and the less flexible is stronger than the more flexible recently i visited the doc because of swelling, severe pain and stiffness to the point i cannot even walk or stand this keeping me from work (i am a chef), this happens at least 3 times a year for the last 3-4 years on this occasion the doctor told me for about the third time i should get a knee replacement surgery. i have decided that i want to avoid this and it is time for me to get healthy and fit, i tried regular exercise programs to help my knees but they didn't work cause it injured my knees in the way i mentioned before. i was thinking that with the right diet and program it can work and i may regain some of the health i lost over the years but i don't know where to start i would like some direction as to which might be able to help with my fitness goal get both diet and physical health in the right shape.
