Hello I have gotten tired of googling the weight loss questions only to get unwanted ads... Perhaps you can give aid. I've been Walking/run (more walking then running) watching my calorie intake for the past 7 years....

Sounds good right? but here lately (for the past year) I have gained 10lbs. I've continued to watch my intake (which might be over +500) and recently cracked down to ever lower intake...

2100 was count now it's 1500 - 1800... to help metabolism...

I was successful during these 7 years.... started at 250 in 2008 got down to as low as 188 in 2013 but since then i've climbed back to 208...

So what's changed since 2008 you say?... perhaps I am not driven to lose the weight like before, now it's .... hmm i'll crack down tomorrow... one more day....

Idk if any one can make heads or tails of my question/thoughts but perhaps some one out there can connect.

(46 yrs old 5'6 206-208 wt male.)

there are a few possible reasons, as we age metabolism slows down, also by doing the same exercise all the time the body adapts and becomes more efficient. often when people are dieting for a long time tracking of food intake can become a bit half hearted and errors in calculating calories begin to happen.
