The main advice that should be given is: Go see a health professional and have it looked at to ensure its not a serious injury. Additionally, any subsequent opinion (at the point of this post) is subject to error due to the information we do not know about you. Play it safe--with injuries, and the body will reward you.

Get it looked at by a health professional.

while i have looked at tons of web articles that one was the best. thanks for referring me to this. i have another appointment in the morning. i have been concerned because the doctor doesn't seem to know much about these types of injuries and has given lots of different thoughts on it. I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis about one year ago and walking has been a problem for about one year. this happened in both feet at the same time. i teach school and wow what a mess it has been.

thanks so much for the advice. i am so thankful for forums like this.

You are VERY welcome!

Now, remember to lasso your heart and pull it inward, and watch the internal show: Your passion ROCKEN! :)

Make it happen.

Sounds like you need to change doctors. Are you seeing an orthopedist, who specializes in bones, joints, tendons and ligaments, or a general practitioner?

I have had tendonitis in my shoulders and elbows so frequently that I don't see doctors anymore for this.

how about 8 doctors. orthopedics and podiatrists. i was casted for 4 weeks and that did no good. i had eswt(shock therapy) in both feet. this helped, and now i can wear a tennis shoe. i am also working with a massage therapist that deal with chronic pain. i was working out at the gym doing lunges. 3 days later i was crippled and could not walk. this was back in august of 07. it has been a trip. now that the plantar fasciitis is better, i have this achilles problem and searching for others that may have experienced similar problems.
