Help me lose this weight!!!

Hi, my weight is 193,5'6, i lift weights i do everything. I'm a senior now and i use to weigh 210 but i joined track and field but i do field not running throw shot puts and discus. I want to get to 160 have rip my skin. I hvae fatt on my chest i want to get rid of that before prom comes!!!! but i heard thats usually its the last u see weight come off of and juniro yr my body fat % was 35 but that was before i joined track and field. I want to lose my weight. Any suggestions? on how to lose it? Its hard cuz somtimes i cheat, I cant fully do it myself but my coach is hard on us i feel the weight off but i come home so tired and eat the wrong foods :(. Should i get a trainer or somthing? Please let me no thanks!~
 
welcome to our forum curious!! SOunds like you have alot of questions, I hope I can answere a couple of them for you.

The first thing you are going to have to realize is weight doesn't come off overnight! It absolutely is somthing your going to have to have patience with and you can't give up if it doesn't come off as fast as you'd like to see.You have to have patience. There are SO MANY diet programs ect out there I personally can't suggest one for you. You have to look at them and decide what works best for you and your schedule. I've read most people that loose weight have made up their own "diet" according to what they like and what works for the amt of time they have, ect. Me personally, My diet is...I only eat when I'm hungry. Actually hungry, not deppressed..I try to make the best nutritional choices as possible. I'm not limiting myself strickly, I mean i'm not saying"I can't have this or that" If I want a cookie, I have one, not the whole dozen. If i want a piece of cake I have one, not the whole cake.ect. I do try to get in 8 glasses of water and very little if any pop. I know this way I may loose weight slower than most but this is the way I want to eat the rest of my life. Thats just me though, you absolutely do what you want to do.

I compeletly understand when you say you come home and your tired and you probably just grab whatever is easily accessible. What you can do is get rid of the junk in your house! Another thing you can do is have fresh fruits and veggies on hand that you can just grab and eat. As far as the trainer goes, and again this is just my 2 cents, If you have the time and money for a trainer go for it! But you can loose weight without one just as well probably.
 
i agree w/ everything. A trainer can help push you when you need the extra shove, but they aren't cheap. And, the best way to avoid binge eating of bad foods is to not have anything but healthy food to eat.
Since you're in school, you should have homework and other stuff to keep you busy and out of the kitchen. I'm guessing you are still living with your parents, so sitting down and talking to them can help keep you motivated and get rid of the junk in the house ... an appology to your little bro or sis might be necessary ;) You may have to do their laundary or clean their room for a month.
When your will power starts to slip, remind yourself why you are doing it and that you will be able to reward yourself after prom. However, you may be surprised that once you get to prom and you have reached your goal that many of those old cravings will be gone and your will power will be a lot stronger. Just as it's easy to continue cheating once you've done it once ... the longer you say 'no' to yourself, the easier 'no' becomes.
