Help me decide please

Which is better? Elliptical or treadmill?

Also I have an exercise ball at home---what kind of exercises would be good for that too.

Which one do you like better? Both are made to serve a purpose, and that is to give you an aerobic workout. Some people may like treadmills better, and others ellipticals. I recommend you go with the one you will see yourself using more often.

Personally, I like the treadmill better. I always feel like I am shuffling when on an elliptical, and I also feel it is harder to get a really intense workout in on them. Again, these are my opinions. If you have the opportunity to, work out on each of them multiple times and then make a decision.

As far as using an exercise ball, there are numerous workouts you can do. Way too many to list or explain. If you have specifics I can help you out there.

Congrats on the upcoming wedding (or so it seems from your signature).

I love both of them.lol Would it hurt if I did both? And how long I wonder, should I be on both machines?

Awesome....thanks. I tend to fall off the ball.lol

Thank you! We plan on getting married next year

Definitely wouldn't hurt to do both, in fact it would probably be good for you. Using different exercise machines can help break up the monotany that can sometimes be associated from doing any one thing for an extended period of time.

How long you should spend on each would depend on what your current level of fitness is, and what your goals are.

The exercise ball requires balance and usage of stabilizing muslces. Keeping your feet a little wider apart will help initially, as will placing the ball closer to the shoulder blades than your lower back.
