Help! Im about to give up!

I lost 70 lbs last year, gained 10 back over winter, I started again 2 weeks ago, lost 9lbs one week and last week I gained 3 lbs and did more excercise. Whats going on? I cannot deal with plus numbers at all and it makes we want to throw in the towel becuase I just always go up. Its like when I work out I maintain my weight during the week but when I dont and just diet I lose weight... what is going on, please help me!
 
Well I guess do some regular exercise but with minimal care regularly don't stop but don't over do it. Think positive that you can do some more on loosing weight. This will help you out.
 
Also keep in mind that a 9 pound loss in one week is a lot...so much of that was probably water...it should be expected to gain a little of that back.

It is the overall loss that ulitmately matters...and the slower the journey, the better, IMO. You are more likely to keep the weight off that way. Look at it positively...you have lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks and kept it off!
I think you are doing great. DON'T let this get you down and get off track!

Keep working hard...you will reap the rewards!!
 
Its great that you lost 70!! I go up and down too, and if i weigh myself all the time i can see 5-10 pounds flucuate in a week, and i KNOW its not 'fat' gain. Foods we eat, if we drink enough water, period, stress can all make the scale change. I weigh more after a meal or when I feel like I am retaining water.
Dont give up!
 
I am male for the record..... and ... we'll see... I really want to lose weight, but I am so stressed right now, wife lost her job 6 weeks ago and it seems all I am doing is eating. I want it badly tho! :(:leaving:
