HELP...I am scared of the gym!!!

Hey Everyone,
I am brand new to this site and in need of some serious guidance. I joined the challenge for May to lose 2 lbs a week and I am very excited and motivated to start however I am scared of the gym!! The gym I go to has a ladies only section which is really helpful but I still feel completely lost when I go in. I never know where to start or what to use. I had a session with one of the fitness instructors so I know how everything works i think but i don't where to start and for how long or how little, can anyone help?

HI there, I was totally freaked out by the gym and i also had a session with a fitness instructor but still felt lost. What i did was talk to a different instructor and explained that i wasnt getting it. He went through the whole thing again with me and really tackled where i was confused. Because i asked for the extra help, they knew i was concerned about getting the most out of my workout and so they gladly invested more time into me. It was a scary thing for me to do, but im soooooo glad i did it.

Dont worry - i was the same way 130lb ago ... now i know all the regulars and i totally feel at home.

Perhaps you should join the 21 day club. Push yourself to do something every day for 21 days - make it a habit rather than chore :)
 
Bite the bullet, just do it -after a few times you won't even think about it. And don't stop going, or you'll get nervous again lol.
