help for weak arm

hey guys was up hope ur fine ,

my problem is that i can't lift heavy weights with my right arm as it is very weak as compared to my left arm which has more mass and stronger than the right one , is there any tip to strengthen my weak arm

If you are using a barbell, use dumbbells for a while. When using barbells, it's possible for one arm to do more of the lifting than the other. So, use dumbbells, use the same weight in each hand and do the same number of sets and reps. While it may be a little easier on the stronger arm, the weaker one will catch up soon.

Try doing a one armed press for example so that the weaker arm gets some attention and gets stronger. Even me one of my hands was stronger than the other but I quickly caught up.

I got my left arm bigger by doing double the sets of my dumbell exercises on that arm. But make sure you still work out both arms, you don't want to neglect your other arm, just work the other one a little harder.

I have a similar problem. (Im right handed) My right arm is bigger but I feel my left arm is stronger

A while back, I found that because I did everything with my right arm, it was more fatigued when I'd lift. Maybe it's all in my head, but once I started concentrating on using both arms throughout the day and using dumbbells to train, the difference worked itself out quickly.

remember too that strength is alot about the brain's ability to control the muscle fibers...not strictly about muscle mass.

I'd definitely stick to dumbbells for a while, and REALLY focus mentally on moving the weight properly, strict form, with a strong peak contraction. make sure the concentric movement is controlled but explosive, and the eccentric phase is controlled and about 2x or 3x longer to complete (i.e. 1 second to curl the weight, 3 seconds to lower teh weight back down)

teach the brain to better control those muscles.

I'm glad this thread caught me eye. I wouldn't say I have more strength in one arm, but my left arm does seem to be smaller than my right, at least my bicep anyway (when flexed, my tri's are about equal). I've been thinking extra reps of bicep workouts will help my left arm catch up. Like I said I don't think the strength is different in either arm, one just appears to be smaller. Maybe it's just me? lol

In elementary school I remember we were doing some exercises and I could not do one particular exercise because of my weak left arm and my gym teacher kept asking me if I broke my left arm but I did not. I have no problems with lifting weights though so I am wondering should I even bother?
