Hello

Hey guys, I am new here :) My name is Kris, and I am from upstate new york. I have just recently gotten back into working out on a daily basis... so its exciting and I have been doing very well. Anyway, I thought it would be good to join a forum..you know moral support and new tips and such :)

I have always been very active, played sports since I was a small child. I was in the military for 7yrs.. during basic, I really destroyed my knees... but I was in the navy so for my physcial I could swim ( I have always been a swimmer anyway and not a runner lol) but when I switched to the Air Force, I was forced to run. Needless to say it got so bad I couldn't walk without a lot of pain meds. Long story short, I ended up with bi-lateral compartment syndrome. it took me 3months to be able to drive, walk, and basically go back to every day life. Well I just got up the courage to actually work out again...its scary you know.. I love my feet and I want them to stay right where they are lol.

I tried several different workouts to do at home, the P90X, which is a great workout by the way.. but due to the surgery I have a bit of nerve damage in my lower legs which makes some excerises painful. But I have been doing this one dvd and have had some great successes. I do have a few questions though, but I will post them in the other forums :)

Anyway its nice to meet you all!
Kris
