Hello

Hello everybody! I am 21 years old and just transferred to a large university from a small community college. My fitness goals are to become more toned and build muscle, especially in my arms and chest. I also have a target weight of 150 lbs. I currently fluctuate at the 165-175 mark. I have access to a small gym at my apartment complex and do 45 minutes of cardio four times per week using a treadmill, elliptical, and stationary bike. I currently do not have a weight/strength program. I do not like to use machines. I would prefer using free weights, an exercise ball, and body weight resistance. Any suggestions? As for my diet, I fluctuate between many different eating styles (frequent small meals, one large meal per day, three balanced meals, etc.) but cannot find anything that seems to satisfy my hunger and my budget. My grocery budget is extremely limited, and healthy food is expensive. I can get a pack of ten microwavable burritos for the price of a bag of dried fruit. Any ideas on how to eat healthy on a budget? I also tend to get hungry in the middle of the night, and often cannot fall back asleep until I munch on something. I would love to find an eating style that gives me energy, allows me to lose weight, and keeps me full through the night. I am looking forward to using this forum to help me reach my goals through advice and support.
