I had a wake up call last Friday. I saw my doctor and I have to lose 3 stones … 42lbs in a year, because I am having trouble with my hips and knees. I will be 69 next Friday, so it's time to get my life under control. My doctor does not want me to go on any 'fad' diets I must eat and cook healthily, and aim to lose no more than 2lbs a week
