I'm doing strength training (mostly powerlifting) but I would like to lose some fat and weight at the same time.
I'm reducing calories and adding HIIT.

Reducing calories and the introduction of HIIT alongside strength training certainly help to improve your physique, but don’t reduce calorie consumption too severely, since you’ll need to replenish sufficiently afterwards, encouraging the kind of growth and development that you no doubt seek.
 
Thanks. I don't think I'm doing it too severely. I am maintaining strength so far. But part of it is mental for me. Also on Max day I am eating at maintenance.
 
I would like to suggest you start a thread in the diary section, this will not only allow more members to support you on your journey (many members only read the diary section) it will give you a place to be more specific about your diet and training so help can be more specific.
