Hello I am new here and I am going to be needing some help to get where I want. Any help anyone can give would be great! I am 5'5 and 166 lbs and have been trying and trying to get my weight down. I work out and usually end up feeling larger after I work out than I did before the workout

Have you tried to restrict the calories that you are eating. You have to do a lot of exercise to lose weight if you don't control the calories that you are eating. Exercise will help you lose weight even if you might feel a bit swallen after a good workout:

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot of people here who can help and offer some pretty awesome advice, so be sure to keep your eyes and ears open.

What exactly do you mean though when you say that you feel "larger" after you work out? Like, more muscular? Fatter? Wider? That just struck me as odd, because I usually feel smaller after I workout. Well, until I look in the mirror that is and see that my fat ass hasn't changed at all, HAHAHA.
 
HAHA I used to feel smaller like I lost weight after I worked out now I feel like I gained weight. Like my clothes don’t really fit after now. I am so confused ha

Yes I have cut back a lot and have been eating more fruit and veggies not many carbs and much smaller portions and have gained 15 lbs. Not sure why
 
You could start a diary on here and record what you eat and the exercise that you do - then we could see and offer suggestions - it will also help you stay accountable and you will see exactly where your calories are coming from and where they are going with your activity.
