Just wanted to say 'Hi'. I am looking forward to getting some help and motivation from this forum. I have been overweight all my life. I am just past half way in my weight loss plan of 80 pounds. I started running about 3 months ago and really am enjoying it. Believe me when I say, I would have never thought I would utter those words-lol. The running is really helping in the weight loss struggle and the toning department. Look forward to being part of this forum.
 
Hey welcome to the forum, Cowboy. I think running is hands down the best way to lose those pounds but i always end up pushing too hard and burning out by the end of the week. Good luck with your goal and see ya round.
 
Thanks for the words of encouragement. Everything in moderation. Key to life-lol. Best thing to do is to have a goal but not set the goal too high. Whether it is to lose 5-10 pounds this month or train for a charity run. It is about pushing yourself but not pushing too hard. It is a hard balance to find but once you do- things will work out well.
