Hello there everyone,
Let’s see where to start? Well I guess I’ll tell you all a little about myself.
I’m 26, and the mother of one beautiful little girl. I’m married and right now I’m writing a novel.
I’m 5'5 ½" and my current weight is 174 lbs. I started out at 180 lbs when I decided to really try and lose. So far I have lost aout one lb a week.
I am running and walking on my treadmill at least once every other day. I walk with my daughter outside nearly everyday. I’m building up to being able to run because I never ran before, I only walked for my exercise. I’m using the method of a ten minute walk for warm up, 1 minute run, then five walk, and repeat. It seems to be going well because I’m not feeling extreme soreness, but it does get the blood pumping. I know nearly nothing about how to do any other exercises. I bought stretch bands and they help with my before run stretches. But the book was not very helpful on explaining about how to use a lot of the moves. I got a workout dance dvd that said it was for beginners, and I cant make heads or tails of the woman’s moves. She spends almost no time showing you how to do the move, before she starts. I feel like you would have to know how to dance, to even be able to understand half of what she is talking about.
My body shape is the crazy and most depressing thing. It’s not how much I weigh that bugs me. It’s the way I carry it on my frame. All my fat goes to my middle. I have no butt to speak of. My legs are thin and have a good bit of muscle from all my walking. My arms are not very cubby. My hips never ever get any fat on them. But my stomach, boobs, and love handles get every bit of my fat. Clothes never fit me well. Pants fall off all the time. I hate tight shirts because they just make me look worse, but baggy shirts hardly look better, because of my chest size.
My goal is to get back down to at least 145lbs and see how I look from there.
I want to find out how to do some more workouts, and maybe get my hands on a dvd that works.
Thanks Tammi.
