Hi,
I am new here. Looking for some good ideas about losing weight. I have been going to the gym pretty regularly for the past 4 months but I have some serious weight to loss.
Pretty long story to how I became overweight but the short story is I was very sick for about 4 years and unable to exercise, or really be awake for more than an hour, so I put on a lot of weight. Eventually I found out what was wrong, got better and went off to college at 285 lbs. About 2 years ago I lost 40lbs but have stayed there.
The last few months I have been exercising and trying to eat right and lost another 20lbs, but I seem to have hit a wall and am beginning to get frustrated. I am graduating college next month and I want to start out the next chapter of my life being healthy and fit. I don't want my weight to prevent me from doing what I want to do (like go bike riding and hiking).
I am at 224lbs now but have a long way to go to my goal of 155lbs and am interested in connecting with other people who are trying to (or have become) healthy
