Hello

I am here because I have been slightly overweight and pudgy forever. I am not having success in getting fit all by my lonesome, so I figured if I try and be accountable to something, even if it is only an anonymous forum, perhaps I will have a better time of it.
I know sound principles of eating and exercise. My problem is that I don't apply them. I eat what I want when I am hungry instead of eating what is good for me. I don't exercise when I don't feel like it either. What I need is to learn how to push through my feelings and do the right thing.
What I am hoping for when I post is tips and advice on what others may see me doing that is contributing to my own downfall.

Thanks for having me!

Thanks, Trusylver.
I read some of your posts, and you look very busy and motivated. It seems like you are doing well in spite of all your challenges with kids and lawnmowing etc. ;) I hope things keep getting better!

Hello and welcome to the forum, Kaiser! :waving:

You're certainly in the right place for motivation, tips and accountability. This forum is a truly great place with some fantastic people, and piles of useful information.

I was in the same boat as you, I knew exactly what to do, I just didn't do it! *lol*....but it gets easier when there are people you can chat to that go through exactly the same thing. Personally, I wouldn't have made it this far if it wasn't for this forum.

For accountability and motivation, I'd suggest the 'Challenges' section, there is always piles of stuff going on, and it's more fun to do things with others (even if it is just online), than doing it on your own. :)

Hope you enjoy your stay, and good luck!

Thank you San.
I've also been reading your diary and I am truly inspired by how far you've come and how hard you've worked. Thank you so much for taking the time to post to me.
I've added you as a friend if that's alright, because I'd like to continue to follow your diary, and as of yet, I'm not sure how to find your posts another way. I'm sure I'll get better at this as I go.

Of course that's alright! :) And I know I am horrible when it comes to keeping my diary up-to-date. I always want to sit down and write something, but then end up side-tracked by one thing or the other.

Anyway, if there is anything you need help with, just holler....there is always somebody around here who's willing (and usually able ;)) to help.

As for how to find somebody's posts....if you just click the person's name, you should get to their profile. I think there's a link to 'all posts from this user' in there somewhere. Of course, in some cases that can be a very big list.....*lol*
