Hey Sarry, welcome to our little group. I have a couple of statements/questions for you, if you don't mind...
1) I'd highly recommend reading the stickies since they will hold a plethora of information for beginners. Any questions, ask us =)
2) what are your statistics? What are your goals? Do you have a map on how to get there yet?
3) referring to the above question and exercise... Do you exercise now? Do you incorporate weight training? If no, why?
4) In regards to nutrition... Do you calorie count? Do you know how many calories you consume on a daily basis now? This is important so you know how many calories to start cutting. Also, don't think of this as a diet. Diets fail. You have to change your lifestyle. You don't have to give everything up, but you do have to make healthier decisions when it comes to food. To avoid binge eating, never ignore cravings... but never indulge either. Fid a happy medium... whether it's 2-3 hershey kisses, or whatever.
