Hi there!

I've been lurking and reading for quite some time but I've never officially made an introduction post.

I'm a 26 year old girl from Canada. (26 as of yesterday actually! hehe)
and I'm looking to lose some weight!

My highest weight was at 237 and since approxamitely January 2008, I've lost ~25lbs. The only thing I did was cut carbs out after lunch. Supper consists of only of lean meat and veggies.

About 3 weeks ago I purchased a treadmill and have been on it every second day since. I absolutely love it! I love sweating it out and feeling so energized afterwards.

My goal weight is ~130lbs. I was consistently that weight until I turned 18 years old. I then started dating someone for 4 years and gained a ton of weight. We were always eating out and eating LATE.

I've completely changed my eating habits though and I've read up a lot about nutrition and exercise and I feel like I'm totally ready to do it, to finally get rid of this excess weight once and for all!

I love this forum! I love seeing how motivated people are on here and I love the before and after pictures. It reassures me that I CAN do this!

Indeed. You CAN do it to just like others. Just keep being motivated and keep your eyes on the prize. Also welcome to the forum. :)
