Hullo, this is my first post, so i thought it would be polite to introduce myself. I'm 13st3 and look like i'm pregnant, I even have the stretch marks haha!
I have an addiction to food pretty much, addiction is something that runs through my family on both sides, mostly with alcohol, which I don't drink much at all, it doesn't tempt me. What does tempt me is crisps and chips, I've got terrible eating habits which i'm trying to break out of especialy concerning those two foods. I've tried a few times to diet, change my attitude to food and get healthier but I haven't to managed to before. This time I thought it would be a help to talk to people trying to do the same thing.
I'm hoping to lose two stone, through healthy eating, things such as little meals a few times a day and cutting out bad food, that and exercise. Luckily I work in a nightclub which keeps me on my feet a few times a week, and when i'm not at work I'll go running.
Thankyou for reading :) I am very happy to have found this forum.

Welcome to the forum.

What you need is a support network here - and the best way that you can do that is to start a diary and visit other people in their diaries. You leave messages when you visit and see if anyone visits you. Generally people make friends this way.

Another great way to make friends is to join in the clubs and challenges. People that post quite a lot tend to make quite a lot of friends. I made loads of really good friends and this really helped me to keep going. I have been on my project for about 2.5 years now.

Good luck with sorting out your food issues.

You could try making chips to get you through - especially at first.... Slimming World suggest that you make chips as follows:

Cut potato into thick wedges.
Par boil.
Shake pan to bash them around a fair bit.
Spray top and bottom with fry light.
Bake in the oven.

Thankyou very much :) I will take down that recipe and try it, Just out of question where would I find other peoples diaries? that sounds very interesting.
