Hello.
I am a New Years Resolutioner who is still going strong after 10 weeks. My name is Brian, I am 33 and am 6'4" tall. I was 260 lbs on 1/1/08 and this morning I weighed in at 233.5. I have lost this through a combination of eating better and exercise. I eat better by counting calories- I try to get between 2300 & 2600 a day- and simply watching what I eat. Exercise is a combination of cardio and weight training. I just hit the point where I can do what I consider medium level interval training this week.
My long term weight loss goal is 200lbs. At that point I will see where I am at and what I want to do. My short term fitness goal is to get in good enough shape to benifit from the P90X- possibly in the next 3 months or so.
Anyway, I have learned alot about rest days, nutrition, interval and weight training in the last 10 weeks but I am sure I am doing multiple things wrong. That is why I am here. I want to see what others are doing and what they have to say about what I am doing and try to tweak my workout to maximise it.
Anyway, just wanted to say hi and look forward to meeting many of you!
