Hello

Well I recently decided it was time to get back to being healthy after two years of getting myself back up to 225lbs. I weighed in yesterday and was rather depressed to be at the same weight I was 2 years ago when I spent 4 months working my butt off. My friend and I are doing a "Biggest Loser" kinda deal with each other so my focus is going to be dropping the excess fat right now. Currently 225lbs @ 5'10" 23 year old male. I don't look this big which is nice, but I feel this pathetic. My plans are currently:

Daily cardio activity, possibly double activity depending on what I can get doing. I want to either be swimming or running(treadmill, I can't control pace on my own and there's no local track around me). Last time I dropped the weight I did a 10mile run 1 day and a 1 mile sprint+moderate lifting in between. Right now I am just going to focus on approx 5mile/day running and poss swimming as much as possible. I intend to get out and play tennis as much as physically possible as well to keep going.

"Diet" wise or rather intake as I like to call it. No more pop unless its Diet/Caff free and I want to avoid as much as poss even at that. No fast food period. Trying to focus on healthy sugar carbs early with protein after workout. Healthy carbs into the midday/early evening and no carbs towards end of the night. Fats I wanna keep low if poss. Protein will be on a good intake level. I intend to also spread intake out to like 6 times with 2 hour gaps. So basically "small" amount of intake over spread time table.

If anyone has any additional suggestions for helping burn fat down it'd be great.

Im not an expert on weight-loss by any standards, but it sounds to me like youve already got a good plan going. Dropping sodas will help a lot, as will eating small meals frequently.

Good luck!
