so i'm new to this website. in fact i don't know how i got here! anyhow, i do know i am here b/c i need to and want to lose 45 pounds...unfortunately i have gained ten pounds within the last couple of months...it was such a horrible, disgusting feeling to see 160 on the scale last week!!! nevertheless it made me feel more fat, frustrated, and just overall grossed out at myself for allowing myself to weigh so much. mind you i am only 5'1!!! i'm also sick and tired of yo-yo dieting...probably one of the reasons why i gained so much within the past two months. basically i'm looking to lose weight for my health, appearance (so i can fit into my cute clothes again!), and i'm getting married next year (don't want to look like a marshmallow!)...thanks for letting me vent and wish me luck please!
 
You came to the right site for infomation, inspiration and motivation.

I have found an important key component is the right mind set. It takes THAT in addition to healthy eating and exercise. Have goals in mind and be commited. Understand how you got to where you are, and why you want to lose the weight. Also know there may likely be set backs and plateau's and you have to push thru them!

DO you have a specific eating/exercise plan?
