Hello!
I just googled up a weight loss forum and this was the first one on the list.
In the last few weeks i've noticed that i'm gaining back weight that I lost. I was at a car show the last weekend and seeing all of the young fit models really made the idea of losing some weight and toning up that much more desirable. I've never been overweight.. But I think that I carry too much for my height. Weighing the same as my 5"9 boyfriend makes me feel pretty chubby :(
Since Feb I lost 10 lbs. But recently it all came back.
I'm about 5"2, 135-140 lbs. My BMI is 25%. Borderline over weight.
Im unsure of what my ideal weight is since im naturally a curvy woman. I think in my head a good goal weight would be 15 lbs. So I have joined up for some good pointers, and inspiration to work hard and changing my eating habits. I'm a pretty lazy person. I've already started buying healthier foods though...

So hello everyone I hope to gain some great knowledge and read up on some inspiring stories.

Hello :)
I joined two or three days ago and I have been just going at it in this forum. The people are really wonderful ... I'm already addicted to the site... plus I must mention I am in love with the thought of becoming healthier and losing weight...

best wishes
A very big welcome,

Welcome, stephybean :) You've come to the right place, on this forums you'll find all you need to learn how to eat healthy and get fit :)

Thanks for the warm welcome. :) i was never that serious before about losing weight but now that im getting a little older I think it's important. Especially because I want to have children in the next few years and I want to be fit and healthy when it happens.

I've been looking into a 2 month membership at my local fitness club and it's only 89 bucks. I think i'd be spending most of my time in the pool. I love to swim. So I think I might join up. A whole year is 700 bucks so thats out of the question lol

hello and welcome! =) well glad to hear that you're considering joining a fitness club...i guess what's most important is how convenient it is for you, because for my case, I joined a 4month gym membership and I thought I'd be really motivated to go like every other day or even every day, but I ended up going only occassionally because it was quite far from my home. So i sorta lost motivation. Then I realized that playing squash at my condominium's squash courts, swimming at the pool downstairs, going for a jog or cycle at the nearby park keeps me going cos the facilities and places are all so near and easily accessible. It's much cheaper than joining a gym too! Hope this helps. All the best to u!

Hey ...
How are you doing?
I drank tons of water yesterday and ended up depriving myself of too much sugar ... crazy ...I guess there can be a point when you can drink too much water...

anyway
