Hi, I am Angie. I look foward to being a part of your family here. I am 41 years old, have been overweight since a teen. Have been on many yo yo diets. I currently am stopping smoking as well. Although, that may seem to be to much at once, I have learned that exercise decreases nicotine cravings.
Water flushes the toxins out quicker. Therefore, I decided to combine the two. I am bipolar which has been an issue with my weight loss efforts in the past. I cycle alot and would land in bed...means no exercise..no water..well you get the picture.

I finally get it. No matter what obstales I have to face, I am the only one who can achieve this goal for me. I can ask for help, suggestions, and courage. However in the end I must do the work myself. Well there is a little about me. Hope to get to know you all soon.
 
Hi, Angie. You are so right. It is only YOU that can do this for yourself. It took a long time for me to realize that. You can be successful...especially if you believe in yourself!
 
Hi Angie- welcome to the forum. I'm Angela but my sign-on is my middle name. Congrats on quitting the smokes and looking to gain a healthier you while losing some weight! That's awesome. I know this is hard, but you can do this! Try starting a diary...here you can write down your thoughts, trials and also help us to get to know you a little better. :)
 
Hey Ang, ive been dieting for 8 months, Im re-quitting smoking again currently, the patches stop the over eating.

24 hours smoke free atm, its fantastic.
