Hi everyone, i've joined this site to help give me the inspiration and motivation to lose weight and be happy with my body.

Before having my daughter i weighed 126lb but i am now 173!! I'm not going to pressure myself to lose the weight quickly like lots of celeb mums, my daughter is only 7 weeks old, and i expect it to take me at least until she is nearly one. I'm just eating healthily and doing 30 minutes exercise 5 times a week.

That sounds like an excellent plan, there is no rush and the slower it comes off, the more likely it is to stay off. Why not check out the New Mom threads for the experiences of some people in a similar situation to you!

That sounds like a great idea, i'm new too, maybe we can support each other or start a support group of some kind

Welcome to the forum! Have you started a diary yet? If not, you should. It is a great way to keep track of your progress and for us to get to know you and offer support. :D
