Hi, I am Fairy Nuff (AKA Angie!)
I live in Spain with my husband and puppy. I have a grown up daughter who decided to stay in the UK when we moved over here 3 years ago.
I have been overweight for some time and although I have joined clubs and lost a little bit of weight, I can never seem to maintain a decent length of weightloss..
I have recently been having problems with swollen legs, not helped of course by the almost 40 degrees we're having nearly every day at the mo.. But I had a look at the internet to try and self diagnose ( Always a mistake!) And I thought I knew the answer... However, when I got to the Drs, he said ( In a very blunt way.. You are too fat and that is the problem.. Lose the weight and you will have less wrong with your legs)
He said I should lose 30 - 40 kgs.. well I nodded in agreement and then went outside and figured out how much that is in pounds and ounces and was flabbergasted! I cant believe I have let myself go to this extent and must must MUST do something about it! I am going to be a grandma at the end of November and although quite young to be a grandma, I want to be fit and healthy and looking like a glam gran, not a fat glum one!
Think I have mumbled on enough now.. Sorry if it was a bit long, but trying to put you all in the picture as to why I am here and seeking help, advice and inspiration!
Hope to find out more about everyone else too in the near future!
