Hello to all!

Hi my name is Kimberly and I am 27 years old. I am really trying to get back into shape and quit smoking. I am using exercise as a way to stop. I have started running again and have been exercising atleast 30 mintues a day. Was wondering if that is sufficient to get back into shape?
I have 3 young kids (5,3 1/2, and 18 months) plus I am in school; so finding time to exercise is hard, but I get my kiddoes involved. Thankfully weight is not an issue as I am only 5 pounds heavier than I was before kids. I am skinny, but I don't feel healthy and have zip for energy without caffiene. Any advice on how to up my energy and make CHEAP low fat meals would be great - hubby is trying to loose weight. And of course someone letting me know if 30 minutes a day is sufficient to get back into shape?
Thanks!!

welcome. 30 minutes is good, as long as your diet is healthy. if you are doing 2h / day and eating garbage all the time, it won't make a difference. if you are already decently small, then 30 minutes / day (with at least 1 day off) should be good.

Don't be too concerned about LOW FAT stuff ... normal food that also comes in low fat is often filled with garbage that is just as bad or worse than the regular.

check out the healthy recipes on our main site ... there aren't a ton there, but might give you some ideas.

Glad to have ya! Welcome to the site.

Keep on ROCKEN!

Any questions feel free to ask!

Best wishes in all that you set out to do in life and within fitness,

Chillen
