that is the right approach...it is not a diet, it is a change of lifestyle and doesn't end at any point in time. The mindset should be on eating and living healthy...the weight loss will be a by-product.
What helps me a lot is checking the nutritional values on the foods....if i see that the fat percentage is over 30%, I don't buy it, also if I see that the carbs are really really high and there is not much protein, I won't buy it. Funny thing is, at the beginning I still used to buy it, but it didn't taste that good, knowing what is in it.
