Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum, but not new to diet and excercise. I was always chubby as a kid and then at 15, by sheer determination, I lost about 30 pounds. I had simply got sick of being fat and took control. I maintained that weight until I got married at 20. From there (all that cooking for my husband and two children later) I steadily gained about 40 pounds over about 7 years. I've continued to excercise fairly consistantly (except during pregnancy), something I've always been good at, but need to learn to control my portions, the types of foods that I choose, and snacking. I just had my second child in October 06 by c-section, so I'm just now beginning to ease back into my excercise routine. I hope this forum will encourage me (actually its already working-I had opened a can of soda just as I was signing it and then threw it in the trash because I felt like a hypocrite...Halalujah!) and I'm looking forward to the support and advice.
