Hello Everyone. I just wanted to say hi and make a introduction. My name is Joe I am from Ny. I found the site after I decided that I needed to lose some weight. I have seen some of the Before and Afters and it has motivated me ro get on the programs. I found that my work has been a problem with my weight.


I work as a graphic Artist..So I spend a lot of time on the computer. But I am luck that I now do freelance work. So I can set my own hours.

The problem I had in the past that I never got any feedback from my workout. I hope to change that..Thanks to this site. My goals is not too bad. I would like to lose about 25lbs (By Dec). I have seen that other have lost more weight so If I can't do it..then I am lazy..I will not let that happen.


What I eat/Drink
I am luck..I have cut out soda for a good year now. I only eat two times a day. In the morning and around 5:00pm. I have gotten into the habit to eat Baby carrots when I feel that I need a snack.

Well let me stop for now..and again say hi. I will post more about my diet over in the Diary section. :D
 
Hi, Joe.

I'm new here too. I wanted to ask you if you saw any weight loss when you quit drinking soda? How much did you used to drink?
I'm totally addicted to pop and that's my greatest downfall.

Everyone's body is different, so if you don't reach your goal of 25lbs by December, don't hold it against yourself. :)

Yah... eating only 2 meals a day can be quite hard on your body. (Hell, I'm a beast... I eat 5-6 times a day.. hahaa!) You may want to drop into other diaries and get a few tips here and there. Also... have you figured out what your daily calorie allotment is? It's always good to know.... Alrighty, anywho... good luck with your weight loss.

Welcome to the forum Joe!

2 meals definitely is hard on your body, and in my amateur opinion is not the way to lose weight. You would be better to have 4 meals a day of smaller portions. This allows your body to metabolise your food successfully.

Smaller portions but more meals. This way you can be healthy and energetic, while losing weight at the same time.
 
Hello everyone.. Again thanks for the replys. I eat 2 meals a day. Its something that have done for some time, but I do snack between the meals. I eat Fruits and Vegs for snacks.


As for the soda. I found that I lost a few pounds..Maybe 6-7 pounds because of the soda.
