Hello there

Well I'm pretty much a spaz. I've been posting but I forgot to introduce myself, so I'm sorry about that :).

I'm 22, 5'9, 198 lbs as I started out. Most of my life I've been at a normal weight. 3 years ago when my hubby first got deployed I didn't know how to deal with everything that was going on so I became sedentary and started to chow down my feelings. I don't think it was so much the sedentary part (I've never been athletic) that made me gain the extra weight, but the eating. I chose pizza over something healthy and well here I am today.

The first 10 lbs that I remember putting on made me incredibly sad, but since I could still fit in all my clothes (hellooo muffin top :D) , I didn't do anything about it. So the pounds kept on coming and I just got to the point where I surrendered and didn't care anymore.

My hubby is a great man, he's never said anything or loved me less because of my weight. He's in the army and he's very athletic, always has been, always will be, and during the past year I have to admit I've been kinda embarrassed to be by his side, because here's this good looking guy in a great shape and oh look next to him is the chunky wife.

So I'm doing this for myself, for my health, for the way I feel and so that I can maybe love myself again and not see just the flaws.

Thanks for reading :p.

Hello JelloShots,
I understand looking at it that way (being the chunky wife) may be a let down, but like you said that's not the reason of which you two are together.

I believe you will do it too!!

Best of Wishes, Take Care

Welcome and good luck! Don't be discouraged and let it affect your self-esteem. If you can make those healthy choices, you'll be looking just as good next to him and you'll also be feeling really great inside.
