Hello :)... prom in 10 months.

I have always been a little bit chubbier. Even as a baby.
Never OBESE, just plain..LAZY. I hated sports. I still do. I find running painful and boring, I have had no motivation to DO anything about my unnessecary fat, no matter how many nights I would stay up and cry, wishing I was thinner for whatever reason--- my clothes, my boyfriend, photographs... wanting to feel genuinely BEAUTIFUL.
I have been a horseback rider for 8 years, it is the only thing i ever genuinely loved. Last summer, when I rode the most, my weight hovered around 130lbs. I was not happy then, either. I haven't ridden in months, and probably will not start again any time soon.
Right now I am 5'4'', and weigh my heaviest-- 139.4 lbs.
My grade 12 prom is coming up in June, and I want to fit into what ive gone to call a "skinny dress". A dress in flowy material, that I can show off a flat stomach and toned arms.
So! I feel nervous setting my weight goal for 125, as I was not happy when I was close to that last summer. But I figure that by exercising more (GROAN!) I will end up gaining muscle weight, too.
I have 10 months to lose the weight. Which, I believe, is plenty of time! Because I will feel like this is achievable, I will be more motivated. I expect I will lose it before the deadline.
Just wanted to say hello :seeya:

well the goal seems not too hard to do, i think you should get there fine.,
The trick is , as you found out, to make the exercise more fun by doing something you love. But not only that its also in the diet and how MUCH you eat in calorie content. So by cutting the one soda a day, or couple cookies out, you would do wonders :)

hello , back at ya...

best of luck home u can reach you goals for the prom...
