Hello people!!!

Hello everybody!
I am from Russia (that`s not so bad country as most people in the world think :hurray: ). 25 years old, male, working in the office- so in last 3 years i gained about 20 kg :willy_nilly: cuz no sport, unhealthy food, etc. Excuse me please for my bad English, thats my hobby to learn it- that`s why i want to be on this web-site, not russian forum about weight loss- it would help not only in lessing weight, thats very interestig to speak to people from different parts of the world.
So about weight... It was about 100 kg (220.46 pounds) in the start of this week. I know that this is not so much, as many people weight, but i feel that i need to be about 80 kg in my age, or better- 70 kg (154 pounds). During this week i was not eating much, i was making exersises for ABS, and you know i have result- i lost 3.5 kg (7.71 pounds). So i`ll try to have a weight-loss diary on this site. Maybe i won`t have a time to write results everyday, but i`ll try))
P.S. i cant find- where in central panel i can make a subscribe under my messages (i mean something like graphics/diagramms of osing weight, etc)? Sorry for stupid question

Your English is certainly good enough to make yourself understood on this site., so do stick around.

You are not the only person for whom English is a second language.

A weight loss diary is a very good thing to do here. But if you lost 3.5 kg in one week, well that's not very sustainable.

For most people 1 kg per week is better though a lot of people lose very fast in the beginning from simply a change of diet. It is usually related to eating less salt and the loss is water. But i hope that won't trouble you. A loss is a loss and its all good. :D

Most of us around here are very much into healthy sustainable weight loss.

That means eating less calories than you need to maintain your weight but not so low that your metabolism slows down and you lose muscle and so on.

I am very much into eating good nutritional foods. The weight loss advantage to that is you don't go hungry and your immune system is kept in good order, you don't suffer tiredness or any other health effects.

You can learn all about these things on this site if you don't already know.

I am also interested in foreign foods so i particularly like to read details about what people eat, and how they prepare food. I am a "foodie".

Yes. i know that these 3.5 kg are not sustainable =), because for example in last 2 days i havent lost any weight, absolutely. I am trying to eat food without carbohydrates now, for example i liked and still like sweetys very much, and i changed them for 99% chocolote, now i eat more vegetables and absolutely don`t eat bakery, but i drink a lot of water- in my opinion that does absolutely no matter for my real weight. I think that all these things are not a diet, its just the right way to feed myself.
I made a lot of mystakes in last two years- i lot a lot of sweety`s, bakery, cakes, roast meat, potatoes with a lot of salt, etc :willy_nilly: . I dont know about America, but in Russia one of the most popular dinners- is roast potatoes with meat, its very hearty, but very harmfull, and everyone know that :eek:. So i think my weight- is only my mistake and i should just eat normally, as normal people eat).
