Hi everyone,
Name is Billy, I live in Oregon and just recently stumbled into this website. I am really liking what I am seeing and the support you all have from eachother. I am currently struggling trying to get my weight down, beginning of the year I was at my heaviest 324 6' tall. It was a real reality check and have been trying and trying to get down to a healthier weight. Long term goal being 200lbs so need to lose 124lbs eek!!!!! Being 26 and watching my dad around the same weight as me and he is 50. I see the problems he is having with health and its scary to think that I could be on the same path, which is not what I want to do. I am a very impatient person and it is very hard when I don't see instant results lol But I know it took a long time to get this way so probably gonna take the same to get back in check.
Started eating better or at least I think I am. I start out my morning with a bowl of special k cereal with fat free milk, lunch is a generic slim fast. I also pack generic nutra grain bar and either a apple or a orange to tide me over til dinner. Dinner is usually a can of Campbells chunky soup with either brown rice, whole grain pasta, red potatoes. It gets boring at times and yes I cheat and have fast food from time to time (once a week lol) My total weight loss in January has been 8lbs not sure if that's good or not. I don't really exercise due to my hectic work schedule working 60 hours a week, having weekends off I guess you can say I power walk while walking my dog for a good 35-40minutes.
