Hello, I'm Sephora. I'm a stay at home Mum (by now u must have realised that I'm from the UK, lol); I have two kids and the youngest is just less than 2 months. I've been accumulating weight since my first pregnancy and never really put the effort in to lose it... so it all adds up and I'm now just considered obese in medical terms so I need to do something!!! I'm still breastfeeding so I'm not going to be doing a drastic diet; I might try Weight Watchers. I know that I need to start doing some exercise but I don't have time to go to the gym or anything so I think I'll get a Wii Fit :) Any of you going to get one as well? I just need something Fun to get me going.
I don't know if you're allowed to post links so if not could a Mod edit my post; but I thought I'd share this for the ones who can't afford to get a Wii Fit - this is where I'm getting mine from (LINK REMOVED)(for US & UK residents) :)
I'd love some tips on which diet you think would be appropriate for a breastfeeding mum... I need something with rules that I can follow as if I just tell myself that I'll just eat healthy stuff I don't stick to it for long... Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

I know that Weight Watchers are running a promotion currently in the UK whereby you can register for free and simply pay the meeting fee. The promotion runs until 24th May. You can get details from

I know that Mom2 is breastfeeding so you may want to check her diary or contact her to find out what she is doing. There is a section of the forum devoted to motherhood.

I dont go to the gym but I wear a pedometer all day long. They are very cheap to buy. It means that I can compare how many steps I take in a day to the day before. Many experts say that we would benefit from taking 10,000 steps per day. Everyday walking counts and that is free. You can fit it in as and when you get time.

Good luck.

Best wishes
Margaret
