Hey My name is Nathan and i was wondering if i could get some help. I want to lose weight but i don't know where to start and what food to eat. I'm 250 lbs right now. I'm not in the worst shape but i am definitely out of shape. A lot of the fat is in my stomach. and my face. It doesn't really seem to build up anywhere else. If anyone can help me out with this it would be very appreciated. If you could list a plan with certain food and workout regiments that would be appreciated too. Thank you.
 
If you are looking for meal plans, you can easily find them on the internet. Just figure out how many calories per day you need. There are sticky threads that tell you how to figure that out. Then do a search for, say, 2000 calorie meal plan. However, the meal plans will probably not have your favorite foods, they'll get boring over time, and you won't want to stay on that forever. There are lots of tools to help you do your meal planning, such as and .

As far as the exercise is concerned, you should read the sticky threads on this forum about exercise. My recommendation would be to find some exercise you like and will stick to in the long term instead of going on some crash fitness program.

Thanks for posting and making a change in your life. I am interested to know what you think you need to do to lose weight. What would be the three steps that you KNOW for a fact will burn the fat?
